Ukrainian passport holders can request their Iran visa approval letter through Uppersiatravel and receive their visa from their chosen Iranian consulates worldwide or upon arrival at the Iranian airport.
Iran Visa Process for Ukrainian Citizens
As per the regulations set by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Tourist visa is granted to foreign nationals wishing to visit Iran either solo, with a group, or to see friends and family. This visa allows a maximum stay of 30 days with the option to extend while in Iran, and it remains valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
Depending on your nationality and the consulate you approach, you may be able to submit your documents and receive the visa within a few days without needing a reference from Iran. However, this process can be time-consuming, especially if you are applying from outside your home country. Most consulates require an authorization letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran, which is a critical step in the visa application process. Once you have this authorization, obtaining your visa typically takes 1 to 2 days.

Receiving the Iran visa approval letter
Once we receive your application form, the first page of your passport scan, and your passport photo, the formal application will be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for processing. The outcome will be an authorization letter faxed to the specified Iranian Consulate. We will provide you with the reference code from this letter, which you will need to collect your visa. Note that this code is only valid for the designated consulate and for 3 months from the date of issue.

Collecting the Visa from the selected Consulate or Upon Arrival at the airport in Iran
With the reference code in hand, visit the consulate with your passport (valid for at least the next 6 months), a completed visa application form (available at the consulate or on their website), 2 recent passport-size photos (for women, ensure hair is covered at certain consulates), the visa fee (varies by nationality), and the authorization reference code. Always verify the required documents with the consulate, as these may differ. It may also be possible to send the documents by mail and receive the visa that way. The process of document submission and visa collection is typically completed on the same day.
